Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of
Brombaugh Op. 4

First Lutheran’s historic pipe organ turns 40 in 2010. When it was installed, the Lorain Morning Journal called it “one of the finest of its kind in the United States.” Michael Barone, host of the nationally-broadcast radio show Pipedreams says that this instrument “broke new ground for the American organ scene.” At this anniversary celebration we will recount the history of this remarkable instrument and hear music of Bach, Brahms, Hindemith, and others. Free and open to the public.
